Linux install of vm-ware tools for Fedora Core 4.

Form the VM ware Top File menu go to VM > Install Vmware Tools…

To install VMware tools you have run it through a text prompt like bash can’t install from the RPM double click.

In the Fedora Core 4 Type the following from the Bash prompt:
[root@localhost ~]# cd /user/bin
[root@localhost bin]# vmware-config-tools.pl

It will install or compile the vmware-tools

[root@localhost ~]# reboot

To use vmware-tools:
[root@localhost ~]# cd /user/bin
[root@localhost bin]# vmware-toolbox
